Ten years ago, my friend, Jean-Philippe Tastet, restaurant critic of Le Devoir, told me to haul my keister over to a little Plateau restaurant called La Montée de Lait. Having already reviewed it, I wasn’t enthusiastic to return. “Cherie, you must go,” he insisted. “They have a new chef, a young fellow called Martin Juneau. C’est hallucinant.”
